Atlas Drafting & Design is a drafting company that specializes in storefront, curtain wall and all glass shop drawings for the glass and glazing community. We pride ourselves in providing our customers with high quality and accurate shop drawings to assist them with the development and construction of their projects.

Quote

The best way to get the most accurate pricing for a set of shop drawings is to contact us to get a quote. During this we can give you a more precise cost since there is a lot of room for variance depending on the job requirements. We work fast and accordingly to give you the best pricing we can in order to ensure your project continues to progress smoothly.

Plotting

Atlas' default plotting format is 24" tall x 36" wide (Arch D) size reproducible, transparent bond paper using an inkjet plotter. If the job requires half size scale for the plotting, typically 12" x 18" (Arch B) size paper is used and Atlas can provide this. We do provide plotted drawings in other sizes than the standard sizes just listed. Please feel free to contact us on if you have any questions regarding your plotting requires and we will be happy to assist you.

Current sheet prices include (1) set of 24" x 36" drawings in reproducible bond format. Due to the variance in plotting sizes the pricing will also vary. Please contact us with your needs and a more accurate price will be provided.

Copies can be provided upon request at a reduced price per page and will vary from $2.00-$10.00 per sheet depending on the sheet size.

Shipping

Our standard drafting format pricing also includes shipping via UPS ground to your office. Shop drawings are shipped in mailing tubes with end caps to properly protect your drawings during shipping. Special accommodations for shipping can be arrange (such as 2nd day air or next day air) but may result in additional charges due the weight of the package. The cost for these optional shipping methods will have the standard shipping price deducted so that you only pay for the difference. We can provide tracking numbers and shipping confirmation to you via email, fax or phone if requested.

Shipping for revisions and copies will entail additional charges that will be denoted on a separate line on the invoice.

Revisions

If you require your shop drawings to be revised, Atlas can provide you pricing for this based on an hourly rate. This will have a one hour minimum charge.

Product Data

If your project requires submission of product data referencing the components used for the project we can help. Upon request, Atlas can obtain all product data pertaining to the information provided about the products used on the job. This will all be compiled into a single .pdf file that can be directly emailed or printed depending on your requirements. A personalized cover sheet can be created at no additional charge. The rate for product data is based on a per hour charge with a one hour minimum. The price will also vary depending on the printing option and will be denoted on a separate line on the invoice.

Electronic Files

Atlas can send the file to be plotted directly to you via FTP server with an emailed link and can send to a reprographic company for plotting. This is not a recommended replacement to Atlas plotting and shipping directly since it does not usually save time due to the requirement of information regarding the specific plotter settings. Atlas can also provide you with an Adobe .pdf file for the shop drawings if you need them to reference ASAP.
